Ace Ventura

Ace Ventura is the solo project of producer and DJ Yoni Oshrat from Tel Aviv, active in psychedelic and progressive trance since the late 1990s. After early work in various bands and as part of the duo Psysex, Yoni Oshrat launched Ace Ventura in the mid‑2000s, moving toward high‑tempo progressive trance built on repetitive basslines, extended buildups and psychedelic atmospheres sometimes tinged with techno and minimal influences. Signed notably to the Danish label Iboga Records, Ace Ventura released the album "Rebirth" in 2007, which firmly established his style, followed by "Paradise Engineering" in 2015, while issuing numerous EPs and remixes for the international trance scene. Regularly booked at clubs and festivals dedicated to psychedelic music in Europe, Latin America and Asia, Ace Ventura has also developed several collaborative projects, including Alpha Portal with Astrix and Liquid Ace with Liquid Soul, which extend this trance aesthetic into other formats. In parallel, Yoni Oshrat uses the alias Schatsi to explore downtempo and electronica avenues, maintaining a continuous link between different strands of electronic music around Ace Ventura’s sonic signature.
