Tristan

Active on the British psytrance scene since the mid‑1990s, Tristan has built a career focused on psychedelic trance and its most dancefloor‑oriented variants, ranging from Goa trance inherited from the early raves to more recent full‑on sounds. As a DJ and later a producer associated with the London underground, Tristan released his first vinyl maxis before joining Twisted Records, where the albums Audiodrome (2000) and Chemisphere (2002) were issued and established a style marked by very present basslines, repetitive acid lines and progressive, live‑oriented constructions. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s he released numerous EPs, remixes and contributions to psychedelic trance compilations, while developing collaborative projects such as Killerwatts with Avalon and Fearsome Engine with Laughing Buddha, which translate the energy of his DJ sets into the studio. Tristan's music is characterized by a fast tempo, simple yet insistent melodic motifs and a particular emphasis on building intensity, intended for large festival dancefloors and open‑air stages where the British producer is regularly programmed.
