Jamie Fine

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Jamie Fine is part of a Canadian pop tradition that blends electropop, synth-pop and indie pop, featuring direct songwriting and productions focused on melodies, electronic textures and clear choruses. Jamie Fine first drew attention as one half of the duo Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, formed with Elijah Woods after they met at Algonquin College, and gained wider visibility in 2018 through the Canadian show The Launch, where the duo performed “Ain’t Easy”. That joint project played a significant role in her early career until the pair split in 2020 amid differing artistic directions. Jamie Fine then launched her solo career with “Sellout” and followed with several singles in which her pop palette ranges from more introspective to lighter tones depending on the track. In 2021 she also appeared on “All Time” with Takis and Brandyn Burnette, before signing with Universal Music Canada in 2022. That period saw the releases of “Confessions”, “On My Own” and “Hate Me Love Me”, and the 2022 EP eight gardengate, which includes a collaboration with Alicia Moffet. Since then Jamie Fine has been active on Canadian pop stages and at North American events, asserting a more personal solo format while remaining rooted in accessible, contemporary electronic pop.
