EKKSTACY

Under the name EKKSTACY, Khyree Zienty has developed a project in Vancouver, Canada, that sits at the crossroads of post-punk, indie rock, new wave and a songwriting approach rooted in melodic rap. Active since 2020, Ekkstacy began releasing music in his teens, initially posting instrumentals online before shifting toward songs more directly centered on guitar, dark basslines and short choruses—often marked by a tension between punk energy and pop melancholy. His first EP, Negative, appeared in 2021 and established this blend, notably with “I Walk This Earth All by Myself.” Ekkstacy continued in that direction with the album Misery (2022), where rock and new wave influences became more pronounced, and with Ekkstacy (2024), which features collaborations with Trippie Redd and The Kid Laroi. His discography also includes the single “F*ck Everything!” with The Drums and the album Forever (2025). Across his tracks, Ekkstacy combines short formats, a detached vocal delivery, nervous rhythms and dark textures in an aesthetic that links internet culture, contemporary punk and alternative pop.
