S10, whose real name is Stien den Hollander, has been active on the Dutch scene since the late 2010s, developing a sound that blends rap, alternative pop and electronic touches. Born in 2000 in Hoorn, Netherlands, she first drew attention with self-produced projects marked by intimate lyrics and a very direct Dutch writing style, before signing with the label Noah’s Ark. The EP “Lithium” (2018) and the album “Snowsniper” (2019) established a dark, melodic aesthetic in which singing and spoken word merge over minimalist productions. With “Vlinders” (2020) and “Ik besta voor altijd zolang jij aan mij denkt” (2023) S10 broadened her palette toward more open pop while keeping themes centered on mental health, memory and personal relationships. Her participation in Eurovision 2022 for the Netherlands with the song “De Diepte” gave her international exposure and confirmed her decision to remain in her native language. On stage she appears in both hip‑hop clubs and venues geared toward independent pop, and she regularly collaborates with Dutch artists from the rap and alternative scenes.
