Sech

Born in Río Abajo, a neighborhood of Panama City, Carlos Isaías Morales Williams develops his voice early in the choir of his parents’ church before embarking on a musical journey in the Panamanian local scene, first in a group and then solo under the name Sech. His world blends reggaeton, Latin pop, dancehall and Latin R&B, with a smooth, melodic vocal style that sits in the continuum of Panamanian Spanish reggae while opening it up to more contemporary urban productions. Active as a solo artist since the mid-2010s, Sech first makes a name for himself in Panama with tracks like "Miss Lonely", then signs with the Rich Music label, which helps bring him to a broader audience. After the mixtape The Sensation Mixtape in 2017 and the The Sensation EP in 2018, Sech released the album Sueños in 2019, powered by "Otro Trago", a track that marks a turning point in his career. He followed with 1 of 1 in 2020 and 42 in 2021, while multiplying collaborations in the Latino-urban sphere with Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, J Balvin, Nicky Jam and Mora. In 2023, Sech released the EP El Bloke Hills, and then opened a new chapter after signing with Rimas Entertainment with the album Tranki, Todo Pasa in 2024.
