Ozuna

Born in San Juan (Puerto Rico) in 1992, Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, known as Ozuna, rose to prominence within the urbano latino wave, blending melodic reggaeton, Latin trap and Caribbean pop. Of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent, he first drew attention in the early 2010s with a series of singles that spread widely online, then cemented his place on Puerto Rico’s reggaeton scene and went on to collaborate with a new generation of urban artists. His debut studio album Odisea was released in 2017, followed by Aura (2018), Nibiru (2019) and ENOC (2020), which confirmed his standing across Puerto Rico, the United States and Latin America. The joint project Los Dioses with Anuel AA in 2021 marked a notable moment in his collaborative trajectory, before the release of Ozutochi in 2022. Ozuna’s style centers on lyrics about relationships and daily life, delivered with a high, melodic voice over productions that mix reggaeton rhythms with influences from dancehall, R&B and trap. Alongside major stage and festival appearances in the Latin scene, he has also developed a film presence, notably in comedies shot in the Dominican Republic and in the Fast & Furious franchise.
