Brenn!

Based in Tuscaloosa in western Alabama, Brenn! develops a folk-pop sound that blends the intimacy of indie folk with more direct song structures. Brennan Keller’s writing focuses on emotional bonds, loss, faith and the uncertainties of coming of age. Under the name Brenn!, acoustic guitar, clear melodies and an unadorned vocal delivery take center stage before the songs open up into wider choruses. Brenn! began to gain wider circulation in the early 2020s with tracks like “4runner,” which brought his name to audiences well beyond Alabama. In 2024 he compiled this first period on the EP County Line, and in 2025 he continued the trajectory with Upstate — two short-form releases that show a balance between folk storytelling, pop sensibility and contained emotion. Initially spread online, Brenn! has since joined American festival stages such as Lollapalooza and Hangout Fest, confirming the project’s growth from a local initiative to a broader presence on the American indie scene.
