Future Palace

Hailing from Berlin, the trio Future Palace develops a post-hardcore sound infused with metalcore, alternative rock and electronic elements, driven by Maria Lessing’s vocals, Manuel Kohlert’s guitars and Johannes Früchtenicht’s drums. Formed in the late 2010s, the band gained attention on the German scene with a series of singles before releasing a debut album, Escape, in 2020, followed by Run in 2022, both issued on the Arising Empire label. Their compositions alternate between aggressive passages and more melodic sections, blending clean singing, screamed parts and synthetic arrangements that sometimes bring the band closer to pop and cinematic aesthetics. The lyrics address mental health directly, relationships marked by conflict and phases of personal reconstruction, with particular attention to emotional ambivalences. Very active on club and festival tours in Germany and across Europe, Future Palace situates its music within a network of contemporary post-hardcore bands while gradually refining an identity centered on the tension between introspection and collective catharsis.
