Black Bomb A
Formed in the mid-1990s in the Paris area, Black Bomb A is part of the French metal and hardcore scene, with a sound shaped by a crossover of punk, thrash and modern metal. The band is notable for a two-vocalist setup that alternates between screamed, raspy and more melodic passages, supported by a tight rhythm section and fast guitars. After several demos, Black Bomb A released the album “Straight in the Vein” in 2001, which established their identity between energetic hardcore and metal riffs, followed by “Speech of Freedom” (2004) and “One Sound Bite to React” (2006), where direct lyrics and a taste for punchy arrangements became apparent. “From Chaos” (2009) and “Enemies of the State” (2012) continued this approach, adding more groove and contrast, before “Comfortable Hate” (2015) and “Black Bomb A” (2018). Regularly appearing on club and festival stages across Europe, Black Bomb A focuses on live performance and an aesthetic rooted in the intersection of hardcore, metal and punk culture.
