Justice For The Damned

Formed in Sydney in 2011, Justice For The Damned operates in a space between deathcore and metalcore, with songwriting that emphasizes rhythmic brutality, bursts of acceleration, crushing passages and abrasive vocals. Initially active on the Australian circuit with the track "Copthrone King's" in 2012, the quintet then refined its identity on shorter formats with Black Vol 1: Slave in 2014 and Ruin - Repair in 2015, the latter shared with Countdown to Armageddon. Justice For The Damned moved to the long format with Dragged Through the Dirt in 2017, a debut album that established a dense, nervous formula balancing frontal violence and darker tension. In 2020 the band travelled to New Jersey to record its second album with Will Putney and released Pain Is Power, a record that maintains the deathcore foundation while accentuating the metalcore impact on certain tracks. Since then the group has continued that trajectory within the Australian and international heavy scene, issuing a third album, Stay Relentless, in 2025.
