Ludovick Bourgeois

Carried by Quebec’s francophone pop scene, Ludovick Bourgeois has been forging a path at the crossroads of chanson and pop rock, giving pride of place to melody and unifying choruses. A native of the greater Montréal area, the Quebec singer broke through to the mainstream in 2017 by winning the fifth season of La Voix as part of Éric Lapointe’s team, a victory that quickly launched him onto the province’s major stages. The son of Patrick Bourgeois, formerly of the band Les BB, Ludovick situates himself in a family continuum while pursuing a voice of his own, blending 1990s pop influences, light rock, and radio-friendly francophone chanson. His debut studio album, 'Ludovick Bourgeois' (2017), showcases this mix of ballads and uptempo tracks, built on accessible arrangements and lyrics focused on relationships and everyday life. A follow-up, '2' (2019), confirms this commitment to contemporary francophone pop, with a stronger rhythmic profile while remaining rooted in the chanson format. On stage, Bourgeois alternates his own repertoire with occasional covers from the Les BB catalog, maintaining a constant link to his father’s musical legacy while cementing his place in today’s Quebec pop landscape.
