Véronic DiCaire

A Franco‑Ontarian singer, actress and vocal impressionist, Véronic DiCaire has developed her career between Embrun, Ontario, and the francophone regions of Europe. Initially active with the group Sens Unique, she came to prominence on stage in the late 1990s in musicals such as Grease and later Chicago, where she played Roxie Hart in the French‑language production. She then pursued a career as a pop and variety singer, releasing a self‑titled debut album in 2002 followed by Sans détour in 2005, before gradually shifting toward a repertoire of vocal impressions that became the heart of her shows. Invited to share the stage with Céline Dion on the Taking Chances tour, Véronic DiCaire increased her international visibility and subsequently mounted a one‑woman show in Las Vegas built around interpretations of major English‑ and French‑language voices. At the same time, she appears regularly on television in France and Canada—often serving as a judge on talent shows—while continuing to tour with productions centered on her ability to interpret and transform her voice.
