Say She She

Driven by the voices of Piya Malik, Sabrina Mileo Cunningham, and Nya Gazelle Brown, New York trio Say She She crafts a soul sound with disco and funk inflections that sits firmly within Brooklyn’s independent scene. Built on tightly knit three-part harmonies, Say She She draws as much from 1970s psychedelic soul as from contemporary R&B, with often hypnotic arrangements and mid-tempo grooves designed for the stage. The group’s first singles appeared in the early 2020s, paving the way for a full-length debut, 'Prism' in 2022, followed by 'Silver' in 2023, both released on independent label Karma Chief. In the studio as well as on stage, Say She She relies on an expanded lineup of New York–based musicians, grounding the project in a live-band aesthetic rather than a purely electronic approach. The trio tours extensively across the United States and Europe, plays clubs and festivals dedicated to soul, funk, and jazz, and steadily builds a repertoire where socially engaged songs, slow ballads, and tracks aimed squarely at the dance floor intersect.
