X-Coast

Under the alias X-Coast, the Serbian producer based in New York has been developing, since the mid-2010s, a club-music approach shaped by rave aesthetics and video-game sounds. X-Coast moves between house, breakbeat, jungle, trance and eurodance influences, favouring sunny atmospheres, rounded bass and immediate melodies. The release of the track “Mango Bay” in the mid‑2010s drew attention within a European house scene attentive to ’90s references and led to a series of maxi singles on labels specialised in contemporary variants of rave and garage. Active both as a DJ and a producer, X-Coast alternates energetic, dancefloor-oriented tracks with more melodic pieces, playing on contrasts between rapid euphoria, staccato rhythms and almost Balearic passages. Present on club stages across Europe and North America, he also develops a coherent visual universe that extends his retro‑futurist obsessions into his imagery.
