Hatik

Born in Guyancourt in the Paris region, Hatik has over the years established himself as one of the distinctive voices of contemporary French rap, navigating between singing and rapping. Initially active in battle circuits and freestyles, he drew attention in 2019 with the mixtape “Chaise pliante”, which presents a world blending melodic trap, introspective storytelling and social observation. The reissue “Chaise pliante II” in 2020 extended this creative cycle and cemented Hatik’s place on a scene where he broadened his profile through numerous features and media appearances. Alongside his music career he began acting, taking the lead role in the series “Validé”, broadcast in 2020, which further expanded his audience. The 2021 album “Vague à l’âme” refined a writing style focused on the tensions between success, loyalty and personal doubts, carried by productions that oscillate between dark sonorities and more open, urban-pop choruses. With “Niyya” in 2023, Hatik continued to explore an emotional, often introspective rap, where variations of flow and the alternation between singing and rapped phrasing occupy a central place, confirming a trajectory at the crossroads of street rap and urban song.
