Bellaire

Based in Paris, Bellaire has been developing a French house sound since the late 2010s, informed by soul, jazz and funk and with a strong taste for loops and cuts inherited from hip‑hop. The name gained wider recognition with “Paris City Jazz,” released in 2018, a track that immediately established a clear aesthetic: warm keyboards, supple bass and a groove directly linked to the funky house and garage house of the 1990s. Both DJ and producer, Bellaire is part of a European club scene attentive to the bridges between American house, disco and the French touch, while maintaining a simple, melodic and highly rhythmic songwriting approach. His releases and sets favour short, effective formats built for the dancefloor without sacrificing harmonic colour. Bellaire also runs Bellaire Records, a logical extension of a project focused on luminous, sample‑based and readable house music, intended to connect late‑20th‑century references with a younger audience.
