Worlds Apart
Formed in early 1990s London, Worlds Apart was part of the wave of British boy bands blending pop, dance and R&B ballads aimed at a teenage audience. The group built its identity on harmonized vocals, catchy choruses and covers of soul and disco standards, which quickly opened doors across European markets—especially in France, where they made frequent TV appearances and toured mainstream venues and festivals. Line-up changes, including the later addition of singers such as Nathan Moore, punctuated the project’s history but did not alter its focus on accessible, commercial pop that alternates between uptempo tracks and slower songs. After an initial period of intense activity in the mid-1990s, Worlds Apart slowed its recording output from the 2000s onward but continued to appear sporadically onstage at nostalgia events celebrating 1990s pop, often alongside other groups from the same era.
