Eve Angeli

Born in Sète in 1980, Ève Angeli emerged at the turn of the 2000s in a French chanson and pop register, initially writing sentimental ballads before broadening her repertoire toward more rhythmical pop, sometimes tinged with pop rock and dance. She was discovered in 1999 on the TV show Graines de star and quickly released Aime‑moi in 2001 and Nos différences in 2002, which established her name in the French popular scene. Her subsequent trajectory shows a more variable evolution, between Viens in 2005 and Révolution in 2008, where the aesthetic becomes more direct and more oriented toward pop‑dance formats. Over the years, Ève Angeli has alternated musical activity with television and theatre, while maintaining a regular presence on stage. Her career also includes several occasional collaborations, notably with A1 on the track Nos différences, with Cerrone, and later with Francky Vincent on the project Le binôme du siècle. After a period marked by self‑production and crowdfunding, Ève Angeli returned with Être libre in 2015, Que l’amour in 2018 and Je sème in 2022. This trajectory outlines an artist who moved from widely distributed pop to a more independent career, without breaking with the melodic song that still structures Ève Angeli’s universe.
