Ski Mask The Slump God

Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as Stokeley Goulbourne, Ski Mask The Slump God rose to prominence in the mid-2010s within the Broward County rap scene alongside the rise of SoundCloud rap. Early on he was close to XXXTentacion and affiliated with the Members Only collective. Ski Mask developed a style rooted in southern trap, with sharply cut flows and a pronounced sense of rhythmic disruption; his tracks often feature vocal shifts, pop-culture references, and an energy drawn from both hip-hop and the era’s punk-rap. After the mixtapes Drown in Designer (2016) and YouWillRegret (2017), he expanded his audience with the album Stokeley in 2018 and followed with Sin City the Mixtape (2021) and 11th Dimension (2024). Over his career he has collaborated with many contemporaries, including Juice WRLD, while maintaining dense, often humorous writing and a highly mobile vocal delivery that distinguishes his take on contemporary American rap.
