Sickick

Based in Canada, Sickick has been developing since the mid-2010s a project at the crossroads of EDM, pop, R&B and trap, with a songwriting approach centered on the voice, melodic choruses and straightforward electronic productions. Behind the mask that has become his visual signature, Sickick first made a name for himself online through covers, remixes and mashups that spread widely across social platforms, before building a repertoire of original tracks. His aesthetic relies on crisp rhythms, prominent bass, dark but legible atmospheres and vocal work that blends singing, spoken phrasing and contrast effects between tension and pop hooks. Sickick thus operates in a space between club culture, digital format and urban music, with a presence shaped as much by image as by sound.
