Nick Jonas

Born in Dallas, Texas, in 1992 and raised in New Jersey, Nick Jonas began performing on Broadway as a child before turning to music with his brothers Joe and Kevin in the Jonas Brothers. The trio initially embodied teen pop‑rock associated with the Disney world in the late 2000s; Nick Jonas later explored a more soul‑ and R&B‑oriented side with Nick Jonas & the Administration and the album Who I Am (2010). As a solo artist he moved toward contemporary pop blended with R&B, light funk and more electronic production on Nick Jonas (2014), Last Year Was Complicated (2016) and Spaceman (2021). This trajectory includes occasional collaborations with artists such as Tove Lo, Mustard and Robin Schulz, while he continues to move between mainstream pop stages, television and musical theatre. In 2019 he reunited with the Jonas Brothers for the group's comeback and the release of Happiness Begins, without interrupting his own path built on direct, melodic songwriting, R&B inflections and concise song formats.
