Natalia Doco

Based in Paris since the late 2000s, Argentine singer-songwriter Natalia Doco develops a folk repertoire coloured by Latin American influences, nourished by acoustic pop and traditional rhythms. Born in Buenos Aires, she began performing in small venues in the Argentine capital before continuing her career in France, with intimate concerts, club shows and opening slots on the Paris venue circuit. Her debut album, Mucho Chino, was released in 2014 and established a repertoire that blends Spanish, French and English, ranging from stripped-down ballads to more direct pop formats. With El Buen Gualicho in 2017, Natalia Doco further rooted her songwriting in South American music, incorporating Andean references and influences from contemporary folk. In the early 2020s the album La Sagrada continued this exploration of a register that is both intimate and geared toward collective arrangements, marked by a greater role for choirs and tropical colours. Performing in France, Argentina and other Latin American countries, Natalia Doco alternates between solo formats and larger ensembles, positioning her work in a constant dialogue between Latin heritage and contemporary independent song.
