Lane 8

Under the name Lane 8, Daniel Goldstein has been creating electronic music since the early 2010s that sits between deep house, progressive house and melodic trance, with a marked taste for airy textures, slow builds and extended formats. Born in San Francisco and based in Denver, Lane 8 emerged in 2012 and joined Anjunadeep in 2013, which framed his early EPs and his debut album Rise, released in 2015. His trajectory continued with Little by Little (2018), Brightest Lights (2020), Reviver (2022) and Childish (2024). Lane 8 alternates between instrumental tracks and vocal-led songs, collaborating with artists such as Solomon Grey, Patrick Baker, POLIÇA, Arctic Lake, Julia Church, Yotto and Kasablanca. In 2016 he founded the label This Never Happened, which became the main outlet for his music and for artists close to his aesthetic, within a melodic, progressive house scene oriented toward long sets and outdoor events. Both his productions and remixes maintain a fluid writing style focused on progression, emotional soundscapes and a measured relationship to club energy.
