CRi

Under the name CRi, Christophe Dubé has been creating electronic music from Montreal that blends melodic house, synth-pop and atmospheric textures, with a pronounced sense of rhythm, supple basslines and precise arrangements. A self-taught Quebec producer and DJ, CRi emerged in the mid-2010s with the EPs Tell Her (2015) and Someone Else (2016), released on Young Art, TOKiMONSTA's label, before broadening his palette with Me and My Friends (2018). From 2019 he also became part of the Anjunadeep universe, where his songwriting refined a balance between club tracks, more contemplative passages and song-like formats. His debut album, Juvenile (2020), develops this aesthetic by combining melodic electronics and guest vocals, in an approach conceived as much for listening as for live performance. CRi continued in this direction with Miracles (2023), where the production remains focused on fluid, detailed and accessible house, nourished by the Montreal scene but open to an international circuit. Over the course of his career, CRi has also produced remixes and several collaborations, notably with Charlotte Cardin.
