Hannah Diamond

Born in Norwich, England, Hannah Diamond has, since the early 2010s, been developing a project that sits at the crossroads of synthetic pop, bubblegum bass, hyperpop and a melodic trance with very smooth textures. She first appeared in 2013 on A. G. Cook’s PC Music label with the single “Pink and Blue”, following an initial collaboration in 2012, and went on to release “Attachment”, “Every Night” and “Hi” — tracks that established sentimental songwriting, deliberately processed vocals and a highly constructed digital aesthetic. Her musical work remains closely linked to her practice as a photographer and visual artist, visible in her sleeves, videos and various graphic collaborations. Over the years Hannah Diamond has contributed to projects with A. G. Cook, Charli XCX on “Paradise”, Danny L Harle, 100 gecs and Namasenda, while performing at festivals and events such as SXSW and PC Music showcases. Her debut album Reflections was released in 2019, followed by Perfect Picture in 2023, on which she moves her formula toward more direct pop without abandoning her artificial, sentimental and highly stylized universe.
