felicita

Based in London and originally from Hounslow, felicita, the stage name of Dominik Dvorak, has since the early 2010s been developing electronic music that blends deformed pop textures, fragmented rhythms, manipulated vocals and references to more traditional repertoires, notably Polish. The early markers of his career appear with the EP Gumma in 2011 and then (>'.')># in 2013, before Frenemies in 2014, which accompanies his emergence on the British experimental electronic scenes. Felicita also works with A. G. Cook under the name Lipgloss Twins and later joins the PC Music orbit, the label with which the EP A New Family appeared in 2016, followed by Ecce Homo in 2017. His work moves between club, mutant pop, scoring for image and stage projects, with documented collaborations with Sophie, Palmistry, Nabihah Iqbal, Tommy Cash, Caroline Polachek or Kero Kero Bonito. In 2018, felicita released the album hej!, where his writing assembles childish melodies, digital shards, dramatic tension and cultural collages. This approach continues with Spalarkle in 2023, then Spælarkle in 2024, a remixed version of the project. Felicita regularly evolves in hybrid formats, between performance, DJ sets and interdisciplinary creations.
