Emma Daumas
Born in Avignon under the name Manuelle Daumas, Emma Daumas established herself in the French song scene in the early 2000s, following a notable appearance in the second season of Star Academy in 2002. Her repertoire blends pop, French rock and chanson, with a personal writing style carried by direct melodies and often intimate interpretations. Emma Daumas released her first album Le Saut de l’ange in 2003, then continued with Effets secondaires in 2006 and Le Chemin de la maison in 2008, confirming a trajectory that gradually moves away from the mere television frame. Over the years, she alternates between records, concerts, and occasional collaborations, notably with Eskobar or Hanson, while developing more independent projects. After Acoustic and the book-CD Les Larmes de crocodile et autres fables in 2010, Emma Daumas returned with the EP Vivante in 2016, then with the album L’Art des naufrages in 2021, in a more acoustic and introspective vein. Active on stage in France, Emma Daumas also expands her career toward writing and producing projects within her organization Les Enfants sauvages music.
