Dyro

Born in Leiden, the Netherlands, in 1992, Jordy van Egmond began developing the Dyro project in the late 2000s. Initially noticed online by Laidback Luke, he joined the front ranks of the Revealed Recordings label in 2011. Dyro’s aesthetic sits within EDM, centered on electro house and complextro, featuring nervous, highly cut-up productions that also incorporate elements of bass house, trap and, at times, drum and bass. After early releases such as “Daftastic” (2011) and “Top of the World” (2012), Dyro quickly expanded his activity with original tracks, official remixes and international touring. His trajectory includes collaborations with Hardwell, Tiësto, Dannic, Bassjackers, Conro and Dynamite MC, ranging from club-oriented material aimed at large festival formats to pieces focused more on rhythmic tension. In 2014 he founded his own label, WOLV Records, which became a central framework for his releases and those of other producers. A regular presence on stages like Ultra, Electric Zoo, Creamfields and EDC Las Vegas, Dyro has also extended his work with WOLV Radio, building a career between festival culture, club circuits and high-intensity electronic production.
