Thomas Gold
Born in Berlin as Frank Thomas Knebel-Janssen, Thomas Gold established himself on the German electronic scene in the early 2000s with productions and remixes released under his name or various aliases. Initially associated with a trance and house aesthetic, he later steered his work toward a blend of progressive house, electro house and tech house, creating club-focused tracks built on clear melodic lines and direct energy. His trajectory crystallized in the late 2000s with sustained remix work for pop and dance artists, followed by releases such as 'Everybody Be Somebody' with Matthias Menck in 2009, 'AGORa' in 2010, 'Alive' with Dirty South and Kate Elsworth in 2011, and 'Sing2Me' in 2012. Thomas Gold then worked with major electronic labels and circuits like Toolroom, Axtone, Armada, Protocol and Revealed, while regularly performing on club and festival stages worldwide. The remainder of his career shows a versatile producer alternating singles, collaborations and mixed formats such as Axtone Presents Thomas Gold in 2012 and Armada Invites (In The Mix: Thomas Gold) in 2017.
