Matisse & Sadko

Formed in Sosnovy Bor, near Saint Petersburg, Matisse & Sadko bring together brothers Aleksandr and Yury Parkhomenko around electronic music oriented toward progressive house, electro house and melodic trance. Active under this name since 2010 after separate beginnings, the duo first established themselves on the European EDM circuit with releases such as Hi Scandinavia! in 2011, then Trio in 2012 with Arty, a track that cements their writing style, characterized by strong builds, bright synths and energy designed for big stages. Matisse & Sadko then followed with SLVR in 2013 alongside Steve Angello, Sigure in 2014, then the EP Break Through the Silence in 2015 with Martin Garrix, a collaboration regularly extended by Together in 2016, Forever in 2017, Mistaken in 2019, Hold On in 2019, Won’t Let You Go in 2021 and Good Morning in 2022. Their career alternates festival-ready tracks and more melodic pieces like Memories in 2015 or Into You in 2017, while also running their own Monomark imprint. Featured on catalogs of labels such as Axtone, Size, STMPD RCRDS, Armada or Tomorrowland Music, Matisse & Sadko develop a direct, expansive and melodic sound, halfway between progressive house, vocal hooks and instrumental productions designed for live performances.
