Dannic
Under the name Dannic, Daan Romers has built, from the Netherlands—specifically Breda—a career rooted in the Dutch EDM of the 2010s, at the crossroads of electro house, big room house and melodic progressive house aimed at large club and festival formats. Active since 2009, he first attracted attention via a remix contest associated with Funkerman, released early productions under the aliases DJ Funkadelic and Brainless, and finally adopted the name Dannic with the 2012 track "Doster". He then established himself within the Dutch scene led by Revealed Recordings, with tracks such as "Clobber", "Viper", "Ignite" and "Fonk", and collaborations with Hardwell, Dyro, Sick Individuals, Shermanology, DBSTF and Fedde Le Grand. His repertoire remains focused on energetic house, featuring clear melodic lines, progressive builds and direct structures, occasionally with funkier, vocal touches. In 2013 he also launched the radio show Front of House, and in 2015 he founded his own label, Fonk Recordings, ushering in a new phase of his career marked by personal productions, edits and club-oriented releases.
