Delta Goodrem

Born in Sydney, Delta Goodrem built a career between television and music from her teenage years, first signing with Sony and later playing Nina Tucker on the soap Neighbours, a period that coincided with her shift toward piano-led adult pop. Her clear voice and melodic songwriting mix pop, pop rock and adult contemporary, with an emphasis on ballads, mid-tempo songs and straightforward choruses. After a first single in 2001, she took a new direction with Born to Try and released Innocent Eyes in 2003. Mistaken Identity followed in 2004, an album shaped by the time she underwent treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, followed by Delta (2007), Child of the Universe (2012), Wings of the Wild (2016), the Christmas album Only Santa Knows (2020) and Bridge over Troubled Dreams (2021). Over the years Delta Goodrem has alternated touring, television and stage work—from serving as a coach on The Voice Australia for several seasons to appearing in the musical Cats. Her career also includes collaborations with Brian McFadden, Olivia Newton-John, Andrea Bocelli and Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu. Since 2023 she has been active through her own label and continues to perform in Australia, the UK and Europe.
