Sugababes

Formed in London in 1998 around Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy, Sugababes initially made their mark with British pop tinged with contemporary R&B, garage and dance-pop, characterised by tight vocal harmonies and songwriting that felt more direct than formulaic. The trio released One Touch in 2000 and went through several lineup changes across the albums Angels with Dirty Faces (2002), Three (2003), Taller in More Ways (2005), Change (2007), Catfights and Spotlights (2008) and Sweet 7 (2010), with Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and later Jade Ewen joining in turn. That instability eventually blurred the project's identity, and the group was put on hold in 2011. The original lineup later reunited as Mutya Keisha Siobhán, resumed stage and studio work, and officially reclaimed the Sugababes name in 2019. Since then the group has continued its trajectory with the reissue of One Touch in 2021, the release of The Lost Tapes in 2022, and new singles such as When the Rain Comes (2023) as well as Jungle and Weeds (2025). On stage, Sugababes now alternate between festivals, major venues and European tours, with a repertoire that links the band's different eras without erasing its evolutions.
