Coone

Born in Turnhout, Belgium, Koen Bauweraerts has been developing the Coone project since the late 1990s, first in the Flemish club scene before establishing himself on the European hard dance stage. His work sits between hardstyle, hard dance and traces of jumpstyle, with a direct, rhythm-forward approach, built on fast rhythms, strongly marked melodies and an energy designed for large club and festival formats. Coone founded the Dirty Workz label in 2006, an important pillar in his career as in the Belgian scene, and subsequently released several albums that chart his evolution, including My Dirty Workz (2008), The Challenge (2011), Global Dedication (2013), Less is More (2016) and A New Decade (2023). Over the years, Coone has forged numerous collaborations with hardstyle names such as Zatox, Psyko Punkz, Scope DJ or Da Tweekaz, while occasionally broadening his scope to more transversal formats. Active at events such as Reverze, Defqon.1, Decibel, Intents, Tomorrowland or TomorrowWorld, Coone maintains a strong foothold in the Belgian and Dutch hard scenes, with a sound that blends rhythmic impact, catchy refrains and live-calibrated production.
