Samu Haber
Born in Helsinki in 1976, Samu Haber began early on as a singer, guitarist and songwriter, working between Finland and Germany, where he has family and professional ties. Haber first became known as the voice and principal songwriter of Sunrise Avenue, a pop-rock band formed in the early 2000s in Helsinki. With that project he completed numerous European tours and released a series of English-language studio albums, including "On the Way to Wonderland" (2006), "Popgasm" (2009), "Out of Style" (2011), "Unholy Ground" (2013) and "Heartbreak Century" (2017), combining pop melodies, rock guitars and radio-friendly choruses. Alongside Sunrise Avenue, Haber has pursued a solo career, appeared regularly on German television — notably as a coach on The Voice of Germany from 2013 — and written songs for other artists, anchoring him in a European pop-rock landscape at the crossroads of the Finnish and German-language scenes.
