End It
Rooted in Baltimore’s hardcore scene in Maryland, End It plays a blunt, front‑line hardcore punk that draws as much from the 1990s New York legacy as from the city’s social context. Formed in the mid‑2010s, End It came to attention with a self‑titled debut EP in 2017 and clarified its direction with One Way Track in 2019, before deepening its songwriting on Unpleasant Living in 2022—each release on Flatspot Records. The band revolves around a tight core of vocals/guitar/bass/drums, with a repertoire of short songs, massive riffs and choppy rhythms designed for the stage. The lyrics, delivered in a chant‑like, direct vocal style, address everyday life in Baltimore, social tension, inequalities and political fatigue, in deliberately raw language. End It therefore sits at the crossroads of classic hardcore and a more recent sensibility, marked by frequently fast tempos, emphatic breaks and a prominent role for gang vocals. Active across numerous shows and specialist festivals in North America, End It is part of a network of contemporary hardcore bands while remaining strongly identified with Baltimore’s local scene.
