Jacob Dinesen

Hailing from the southern Jutland scene in Denmark, Jacob Dinesen belongs to a line of songwriters shaped by folk rock and English‑sung Americana. From the mid‑2010s he began attracting attention in Danish venues and clubs with a repertoire where acoustic guitars, rock energy and slow ballads share equal weight, driven by songwriting focused on personal relationships, travel and everyday tensions. His first full‑length album, "Count the Ways" (2015), launched a string of studio releases continued by "Brace Against the Storm" (2016) and "Found It" (2018), affirming a style that moves between intimate folk, country inflections and more electric arrangements. Surrounded by a band that accompanies him on stage and in the studio, Jacob Dinesen structures his concerts around a mix of narrative songs, more direct tracks and quieter passages, enabling him to play both club stages and festivals. Over the course of his tours he has consolidated a distinctive place in the Danish rock landscape, midway between American tradition and Nordic sensibility.
