Ivan Pedersen

Active on the Danish music scene since the late 1960s, Ivan Pedersen has built a career as a singer-songwriter that blends pop, melodic rock and ballads influenced by soul and folk. Born in Denmark, he first attracted attention in various local bands before reaching a wider audience in the 1980s with the pop duo Laban, whose repertoire in Danish and English placed him on the Scandinavian map. After Laban disbanded, Ivan Pedersen pursued a solo career focused on writing lyric-driven songs, often in Danish, while remaining active as a backing vocalist and collaborator for many pop and rock artists in Denmark.
