Under the name bleood, Jamari Spencer has been developing a digital, abrasive rap sound from the United States that blends contemporary trap, cloud rap, hyperpop and rage rap, featuring saturated bass, sharp synths and heavily processed vocals. Initially active under the alias m4ri from 2020, he began with tracks marked by cloud rap and early-2010s hood EDM influences, then refined his approach through contacts with collectives like Scarlet, Infared and 1c, before launching his own collective, #back, in 2022. A first milestone came in 2023 with the EP seal of memories, released as deffici1e, and later that year he adopted his current identity definitively with the single depression doesnt explain how i feel. In 2024 he continued in that direction with several singles where atmospheric echoes and distortion take center stage. His first mixtape, pain, appeared in 2025, crossing rap, hardstyle and club music in an intentionally unstable form, followed the same year by rascal 51, a tighter record focused on rage rap and trap.
