2slimey

Born in Midwest City, Oklahoma, to a Mexican immigrant family, Sergio Garcia began releasing music in the late 2010s as GGS before adopting the name 2Slimey in the early 2020s. Associated with the US underground rap scene tied to the SoundCloud era, 2Slimey moved from a more traditional register toward a blend of rage rap and industrial hip-hop, featuring saturated bass, fractured rhythms and heavily distorted vocals. His first wider exposure came in 2024 when a snippet of "Shrimp" circulated widely online. That year he released the mixtape SsoMe (2024), followed by the album High Anxiety (2025), which includes an appearance by Izaya Tiji, and then More Anxiety (2026), an expanded edition of the project. His trajectory places him within a generation of internet rappers where noisy aesthetics, nervous energy and neo-jerk or hyperpop influences intersect. In 2026 2Slimey also appeared in the cypher Underground Sound 2026 and joined festival bills such as Rolling Loud in Orlando and Summer Smash in Chicago.
