Bonnie Spacey

Active on the Marseille scene, Bonnie Spacey has been developing since the mid‑2010s a project focused on the intersections between electronic music and a rock heritage. A DJ and producer based in Marseille, she crafts a sound that connects indie dance, melodic techno and dark disco by incorporating guitar lines, vocals and synthetic textures into club‑oriented structures. Her early tracks were released on labels such as Phisica, Jeahmon! and Lumière Noire, which gradually placed Bonnie Spacey within a network of producers and DJs aligned with dark disco and indie electronic aesthetics. In 2019 she founded her own label, Critical Monday, and released the single 'Don't', which opened a catalogue dedicated to techno nourished by rock and new wave influences. Through Critical Monday, Bonnie Spacey also supports releases by artists like Curses and Shubostar, affirming an artistic direction centered on hybridizations between live energy and club formats. Alongside her productions, Bonnie Spacey regularly performs DJ sets in France and abroad, advocating a narrative approach to mixing where techno rhythms, post‑punk basslines and more introspective atmospheres coexist.
