Benjamin Ingrosso

Born in Danderyd near Stockholm, Benjamin Ingrosso is part of contemporary Swedish pop with a repertoire that spans melodic pop, electropop and more organic Swedish-language songs. He began performing early in musicals and first came to public attention as a child when he won the Lilla Melodifestivalen in 2006 with Hej Sofia. After several stints in television and theatre he refocused on writing and recording, took part in Melodifestivalen 2017 with Good Lovin' and won the 2018 edition with Dance You Off, which represented Sweden at Eurovision that year. His discography follows this trajectory between international pop formats and Swedish-language grounding: Identification (2018), En gång i tiden (del 1) (2021), En gång i tiden (del 2) (2021), Playlist (2022) and Pink Velvet Theatre (2024). In parallel he works as a songwriter and producer, collaborating with figures from the European pop and electronic scenes such as Felix Sandman, Alan Walker, Ofenbach and Purple Disco Machine. Benjamin Ingrosso alternates touring in Scandinavia, across Europe and in North America.
