ZEP

Rooted in skate, break, hip‑hop and electronic contexts, ZEP is developing a solo project at the intersection of live performance and DJ set. Trained at the conservatory, ZEP initially focused on drums and mixing before expanding their playing to several instruments — notably bass, keyboards, percussion and some winds — and incorporating everyday objects repurposed on stage. This practice feeds a hybrid aesthetic where hip‑hop rhythms, punk energy, electronic textures and a physically driven approach meet, in a format conceived more for live impact than for instrumental display. ZEP often performs solo while leaving room for guest appearances and audience interaction, situating the concerts in a direct dynamic between club, performance and alternative culture. Over the course of their career, ZEP has shaped a strong stage identity tied to self‑produced circuits and European scenes, where the blend of music, movement and improvisation fully makes sense.
