Formed by brothers Louis and Ben Helliker‑Hales, Chaos In the CBD took shape in Auckland, New Zealand, before settling in London — two cities that inform their musical identity. Emerging in the early 2010s on the underground electronic scene, Chaos In the CBD gradually shifted toward a more organic, nocturnal aesthetic, well summed up by the 2015 EP Midnight in Peckham, frequently referenced in their trajectory.
