Andre Winter

Based in Hamburg, André Winter established himself on the German electronic scene in the mid‑1990s, during the rise of European techno. Under the name D‑Saw, he released in 1996 the track "Track 10:30" on the Hamburg label Superstition, a piece that has remained associated with that generation of techno productions—stripped‑down, hypnotic and centred on rhythmic tension. André Winter's work sits at the intersection of techno, tech‑house and minimalist grooves, with constant attention to the effectiveness of motifs and the progression of a track. As a DJ and producer he circulated through German and European club networks while maintaining ties to the Hamburg scene. Twenty years after the release of "Track 10:30", André Winter revisits the composition with a new version released on Senso, Oliver Huntemann's label, in a project that also includes remixes by H.O.S.H., Re.You and dubspeeka, placing him within the continuity of a sober, mechanical and enduring club aesthetic.
