Joseph Disco

Joseph Disco has been part of the German techno scene since the 2000s. First a resident at the Playground club in Cologne, he began producing during that period before returning to Munich in 2005, when his first releases appeared on Great Stuff Recordings, and later on labels such as Stil vor Talent and Platform B, both solo and in various collaborative projects. His work falls within a club-oriented techno register, built on crisp rhythms, pronounced basslines and a direct approach to the dancefloor, with an aesthetic linked to the Berlin and West German scenes. Between DJ sets and production, Joseph Disco has played venues such as Kater Blau, Sisyphos, Wilde Renate, Rummels Bucht, Südpol, Odonien, Artheater, Club Charlotte and Hive in Zurich, as well as festivals like Fusion, Rave on Snow, Bucht der Träumer, Moyn Moyn and Klangtherapie. He also develops studio work in Berlin, notably alongside Daniel Jaeger.
