Douran

French producer and composer based in Paris, Douran develops a musical approach at the intersection of electronic music, orchestral language and cinematic aesthetics. His tracks are built around pianos, strings and synthesizers, featuring carefully worked harmonic progressions and climaxes often close to film music, while remaining rooted in electronica and melodic techno at moderate tempos. First noticed in the late 2010s with a series of four EPs, he gradually built his catalogue across several specialized labels and joined the Cercle universe, which helps bring his productions to an electronic-music audience. Alongside his records, Douran composes for moving images, creating music for cinema, television and brand campaigns, which feeds the narrative aspect of his pieces. On stage, he adapts this work into live and DJ formats geared toward listening and dancing. In 2025 he begins a new cycle with a double EP of fourteen tracks combining a Bulgarian choir, a string quartet and his electronic textures, complemented by a series of remixes entrusted to producers from his artistic circle.
