Fejká
Brian Zajak, who releases under the name Fejká, develops electronic music from Germany that sits between ambient, melodic techno and atmospheric house. Active since his adolescence, Fejká emerged in the mid-2010s with a language in which dreamy pads, straight rhythms and a melodic sensibility — drawn as much from contemplative electronica as from the club — coexist. Long associated with Christian Löffler’s Ki Records, he issued several short-format releases there before the album Reunion in 2019 and Hiraeth in 2022, two records that extend this back-and-forth between introspective listening and dance momentum. His work rests on precise writing, with clear melodic motifs, airy textures and slow progressions, oriented more toward diffuse tension than direct impact. This duality, often described by Fejká himself as a dialogue between day and night, dream and dance, structures his entire trajectory. After roughly ten years within the Ki Records ecosystem, Fejká launched his own label, Coexist, to continue this melodic and atmospheric aesthetic independently.
