ELOI
Born in Paris in 1998 and originally from Montrouge, ELOI, the stage name of Éloïse Leau, has since 2020 been developing a solo project at the crossroads of synthpop, hyperpop, electro-punk, techno, rap and drum and bass, with a pop-writing style threaded with abrasive textures and fast rhythms. Trained in classical piano before turning to more frontal aesthetics, ELOI first circulated online productions on SoundCloud and through the Criskat Palace duo with Léo Peyront, before launching her personal trajectory during the lockdown with the EP Acedia in 2020. In 2022, ELOI broadened her audience with Pyrale, which includes notably 'jtm de ouf' and 'Soleil Mort', two tracks that establish a universe of direct melodies, taut refrains and a blend of adolescent romance, club energy and nervy guitars. Her first album Dernier Orage appeared in 2023 and extends this hybrid approach, between electronic pop, rock impulses and accelerations inherited from dance music. Notably Choribaby is found on several tracks. ELOI then continues this evolution with Blast in 2025, confirming an aesthetics where tension, fragility and taste for short, punchy forms coexist.
